This is my creative working space in progress and I am soon to move in after we get the space connected with some electricity and a wifi extender. I have been busy making some art for the walls using mixed media of water colour, acrylic and different metallic textures.
The exterior landscaping needs to be paved and turned into a small courtyard which I can also use for corporate portraiture for creative freelancers (more info can be found here on my domestic portraiture website, www.dpbyjacs.com). I am also looking forwards to using this space to shoot small products with my studio lighting, I'll get some examples up as I can see this space being great for ceramics, jewellery, props and food.
This little space has been designed and made by my Partner, Matty who used mostly recycled and found materials to create this little structure. Offcuts of wood which would have otherwise been dumped, pallets, old window frames from homes on the cut to be demolished, items from recycling yards and a keen eye on the curb side. He made the large door to fit!
Feeling very lucky to have my own little space coming into fruition!!
