I honestly thought that I'd be able to put the camera down for at least one week during my term break. But I find myself taking on commissions alongside taking photographs for leisure. I am addicted to photography and as it seems, playing around on photoshop. I have always loved making collages, dating back to the start of high school where my year seven text books and folders can back me up on that statement. Back then it was good old pen, paper, a ruler and scissors sitting on top of my bed composing the layout with scraps of paper and magazine cut outs littering my bed spread. I guess this also explains my addiction to Pinterest. What a great idea, I have spent many hours of my life perusing through the pins, suggested pins and other peoples boards and that's before I have started on my own boards. The public boards are just a slither in relation to the secret boards I have set up for all sorts of things; hairstyles, personal branding, inspirational photography boards, boards between myself and my brides, families and small business. All I can say is what a clever idea, it's one of those ones where you swear you thought of it ages ago and kick yourself for not actually doing anything about it.
This collage is a little overview on my vibe towards spring this season. For me, I think it's definitely driving towards a pastel blue and indigo vibe. Pastel blue is one of my favourite colours to wear alongside cream and denim. I have also spotted so many gorgeous hand made and local ceramics, if I had of purchased each pretty one I have seen I would have no money left in my spending account! I am also loving leafy foliage and palms around the house, particularly after todays event that I shot. I would like to get my hands on some pretty fiery pink flowers, do you have any particular suggestions?
